Brandi Stoneburner and Drew Satterfield Vehicle Collision Eastern Shore, ML Obituary and Death: Tragic Loss
MARYLAND — The Eastern Shore community is grappling with the heartbreaking loss of two individuals who tragically died in separate fatal crashes on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
The first incident occurred around 8:33 p.m. on Eldorado Road in Rhodesdale, when a Kia Sportage, traveling south, veered off the road and struck an electrical box, causing the vehicle to overturn. The sole occupant, 40-year-old Brandi Stoneburner of Princess Anne, Maryland, was pronounced dead at the scene. Eldorado Road was closed for over three hours while investigators examined the site. Brandi was remembered by family, friends, and neighbors for her kindness, warmth, and the positive impact she had on her community.
Later that evening, around 11:16 p.m., a two-vehicle collision took place on U.S. Route 301, just north of Maryland Route 544 in Millington. A Volkswagen GTI struck the rear of a Chevrolet Traverse, causing the Chevrolet to leave the roadway and overturn into a wooded area. The driver of the Chevrolet, 19-year-old Drew Satterfield of Middletown, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Volkswagen, 22-year-old Easton Bryant of Chester, Maryland, was airlifted to a local trauma center. Authorities believe speed and potential impairment may have contributed to the crash, and charges may be pending.
Maryland State Police continue to investigate both incidents, urging drivers to obey speed limits, remain vigilant, and avoid driving under the influence.
Brandi Stoneburner and Drew Satterfield will be remembered for their generosity, kindness, and the joy they brought to those around them. The Eastern Shore community extends its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of both victims during this difficult time.
