ETNA, CA — The community of Etna is grieving the untimely passing of 18-year-old Danielle Shiplet, who tragically lost her life early Friday morning, March 13, 2026, following a devastating vehicle crash on Oberlin Road, east of Phillipe Lane in Yreka. Danielle, driving a blue 2009 Honda CR-V, was traveling when her vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree, resulting in fatal injuries.
Danielle’s family, friends, and the Etna community remember her as a vibrant young woman whose spirit and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
